The pirate tour is our most playful tour – ideal for children between about 4 and 10, lasting around 3 hours and departing from Laveno-Mombello, Brebbia, Feriolo, Cannero or Cannobio. On board the kids become the “pirate crew”: they keep watch with binoculars, hoist the flag and search for the hidden treasure along the shoreline near the Borromean Islands. The pirate stories are imaginatively based on real places – such as the legendary castles of Cannero Riviera, where pirates supposedly once caused mischief. A short swim stop in a sheltered bay provides cooling, with a clear focus on safety and a shallow entry – swimming from the boat, without going ashore. The trip is deliberately short, with plenty of breaks and shaded spots on board.
