The Borromean Islands are the heart of every family round trip: Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Madre. The tour starts from Laveno-Mombello, Brebbia, Feriolo, Cannero or Cannobio. We cruise gently past all three islands – Isola Madre with its gardens and free-roaming peacocks, Isola Bella with its magnificent palace and terraced gardens and the picturesque fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori. All from the boat, without going ashore. Fundamentally no shore visit is planned. Anyone who wishes to go ashore – for a restaurant visit, for example – books 7 hours and arranges the stop individually with us. Our crew gives short, easy-to-understand explanations instead of long historical lectures – a real highlight for families with children.

Aboard the »Striga Constanze« you sail on a replica of a Northern European working boat from the early 1900s. A boat with character, history and comfort. The perfect setting for your cruise on Lake Maggiore.
Built in 1979 by Baumgartner Shipworks in Hamburg, with a GRP and wood hull. Last restored in 2021, with a second refit in 2026. An experienced skipper is on board for every tour.
