Hi, I'm Christopher – skipper and founder of Striga Constanze
I live with my wife and our three children on Lake Maggiore. This lake is my home, my playground and my passion – and that is exactly what I want to share with you.
The first time I stood on Lake Maggiore, I didn't know it yet. But somewhere between the Borromean Islands, the rock cliff of Santa Caterina and the soft late-afternoon light, I realised: this lake is not just a destination. It is a feeling. A feeling you don't have to explain, you have to experience it.
By now I live right on the water with my wife and our three children. The children grow up between the harbour, the sea breeze and the stories of the lake. And me? I am exactly where I belong: founder and skipper at Striga Constanze, on probably the most beautiful lake in the world.
Our traditional gaff cutter is more than a boat to me. It is a floating piece of history, a place to slow down and a space for moments that are too short in everyday life. When the red sails are set, the wind cuts through the water and the guests smile at the bow, a dream comes true for me.
I'm looking forward to wonderful tours with you. Feel free to email me, message me on WhatsApp or send a direct enquiry for your boat tour. Together we turn a day on the lake into a memory that lasts.

What we stand for
Personal instead of mass tourism
Every tour belongs entirely to you. No sharing the deck with strangers, no time pressure, no microphone. Just you, your people and the lake.
Decelerated instead of hectic
We move to the rhythm of the water. See, marvel, breathe. The holiday begins the moment we cast off.
Authentic instead of perfect
I tell stories you won't hear from the shore. Of hermits, pirates and dancing stones. Of a lake only locals know.
